- “I'm Chug Patrol, and I'm ready to roll!”
- ―Jackman's catchphrase
Jackman is the chief of Chug Patrol who was introduced in the fourth season.
Bio[]
Jackman joins Chuggington in Series 4 as the chief of Chug Patrol and the bravest chugger on the tracks! With a twinkle in his eye and strong leadership skills, Jackman makes the perfect mentor for Wilson, who aspires to follow in his tracks! He is friends with Calley.
Technical Details[]
Possible Basis[]
Jackman is likely based on a Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) Intercity Material (ICM), nicknamed "Koploper" due to the "walk-though head" cab design. However, in the show, Jackman is diesel powered, whereas the real ICMs are electrically powered.
Livery[]
Jackman is painted red with a navy underbite, red and yellow caution stripes on either side of his underbody, and navy and light sky blue lining. His window frames are white.

Trivia[]
- During production, he was originally going to be named "Logan Blaze". Had he'd kept it, it would have made him the second chugger in the franchise to have a first and last name, the first chugger being Speedy McAllister.
- In German, he is called "Timon"
- In Season 6, Jackman's accent in the US dub was de-emphasized to an American accent.
- In the US dub, Jackman was no longer voiced by Michael Byers after Season 5, although he still voices him in the UK dub of Season 6.
- He is also the first character to no longer have the same voice actor in both English dubs and now have separate voice actors.
- He is the second crane chugger to appear on the show. The first being Skylar, the third being Russ, and the fourth being Rosa.
- Jackman's horn was used for Packer in Bob the Builder.
- Both of his English voice actors are coincidentally named "Michael".
