Old Town

Old Town, officially called Old Chuggington, is an abandoned town next to Chuggington.

Biography[]

The Old Town was originally built for steam chuggers, featuring steam-powered turntables and a steam whistle. It is currently unknown why the town was abandoned, but after New Chuggington was built, Old Puffer Pete, Olwin and Speedy McAllister moved to the new town while the rest of the chuggers are believed to have moved to Tootington. Now, the chuggers still occassionally visit Old Town; it's accessed through the Old Town Junction in the Yellow Line. Old Puffer Pete often tells stories about the ages of steam and the trainees enjoy playing hide and seek there. Particularly in the sixth season, the Old Town is also commonly used as a shortcut to get to different places around Chuggington faster.
